Creative Entrepreneurs! Arts Grants, Events, Resources

Contrary to the Hype there are  resources. No one person can tap them all, alone.

Ever wonder where to get resources and information to produce your art and make a good living?

Perhaps you need paint brushes, props or discount Rehearsal Space, health Care?

There are many Artist Service Organizations who are willing to give  things and services and information….

All those years of school and no teacher told me that  Queen Charlotte Sophia of Mecklenburg-Strelitz,  Queen of England, wife of George III in the late 1700’s had kinky hair and brown skin  (Skeptics can call The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture)….I didn’t know about Noh Theater or morettas, or Lorca or The  Black Madonnas or that Alexander Dumas from France and Alexander Pushkin from Russia had African heritage and Ohh the  grimaces when we  hear Beetoven’s sported brown skin and curly hair…(go to the research library at Lincoln Center/s 3rd floor and pick up the black opera “X” while you’re at it)

How does this effect our art?     Does it matter?

And what of the little Pakistani-American children in danger of loosing there grand uncles culture to the melting pot.

Each page has a comments area on the bottom as an opportunity to brainstorm and share what’s worked for you, share history, resources and information and “pings” are welcome.
